Every Friday, I'm going to make some .mp3's available. These
will be rarities that are not otherwise available through any commercial
means. In other words, you can't go buy this stuff in the shops.
This material is only intended for TRADING and should not be put on eBay or
anything stupid like that. Also - for a discussion on the sacrilege of
.mp3 as a lossy format, see the music page and other
subpages. This is important if you're going to try something really
foolish, like converting these .mp3's into a CD. But obviously you're
too smart to try something like that, right?

Now that we've got that out of the way, here's this week's offering:
Here's James Booker from Hamburg, 1976. This is a solo piano
performance that highlights Booker's insane combination of boogie-woogie,
jazz, blues and classical. He was a wildman, as his bio at Wikipedia
will attest. I don't have song titles, but this is a real joy to listen
to - excellent quality and outrageous performance. It's a double disc
set, so be sure to get it all.
