Thanks, Theo. You know, it’s not so easy to find a bass player who is interested in digging that repetitive blues, but I know it would sound better with! As far as singing, I’m thinking of this exploration into north Mississippi blues as a way to practice some singing.
Well, you can play a bass part that is very basic and, indeed, repetitive. But if you are creative, you could add some interesting, slightly melodic, walking bass lines to this kind of blues. It will get a lot more interesting for the listener that way as well.
Not that what you played here is not interesting of course. On the contrary.
