I think you could reconsider the line, "even though he’s too young to have any idea what these songs are about".
Literally, of course, he can't understand the words or meaning, per se.
But, drawing on my own experience, I am a firm believer that babies, toddlers, what have you, can definitely "appreciate" music and are likely to let you know what styles they like more than others with their body language. And the kid doesn't have to be very old at all before he can definitely discern the difference between hearing live music (and music performed/sung by a parent especially) vs. recorded music.
You know as well as I do that giving your child (or anyone else) the gift of "music appreciation" is a Good Thing.
Enjoy.
So glad to hear that you're enjoying what you've looked forward to for so long.

I hate to be cynical, but the tea leaves I'm observing make me think Google has a blind spot to connecting Blogger and Google+. It's an amazing idea and Google really needs to breath some new life into that platform. It's still popular and less imposing for the user than WP.

This does not diminish my love of Google, but I just don't think there as smart as you on this one.

I'm keeping my eye on Blogger integration with Google+. Not saying I'm ready to give up on WP, just keeping my eye on it.

I know you have gotten some traction on Tumblr - I have gotten none. About ready to throw in the towel.

Where to rest your head — good question. I came to your blog tonight hoping you had posted about you like Google + so much. I'm still trying to find my way with it. I wonder what it will become — another data surveillance machine to feed advertising?

There's something I really like and admire about a wordpress blog that allows you all the creative control you have here.

Steve Hackett is simply one of the greatest guitarists and writers ever. He has written some beautiful music and given me years of listening pleasure. Kim Poor would not have enjoyed her artistic success without Steve who gave her an outlet for her work on his album covers.

I always felt that Genesis were never the same when he left; they lost the etherial acoustic touch that Steve Hackett played so brilliantly. A great musician.
