{"id":1369,"date":"2010-07-03T10:25:47","date_gmt":"2010-07-03T14:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mpomy.com\/?p=1369"},"modified":"2010-07-03T10:35:46","modified_gmt":"2010-07-03T14:35:46","slug":"am-i-about-to-become-a-scott-henderson-tribal-tech-fan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mpomy.com\/?p=1369","title":{"rendered":"Am I about to become a Scott Henderson \/ Tribal Tech fan?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_1370\" style=\"width: 233px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mpomy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Scott_RC.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1370\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1370 \" title=\"Scott_RC\" src=\"http:\/\/mpomy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Scott_RC.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1370\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Scott Henderson, picking up some of that much-needed endorsement cash.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I had always known that <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Scott_Henderson\">Scott Henderson<\/a> had played with Zawinul, but never really gave it much thought. \u00a0Weather report was and explicitly NO-GUITAR outfit. \u00a0On the other hand, starting with the one time I saw Zawinul&#8217;s band in &#8217;97, I&#8217;ve known that he always has young and talented \u00a0guitarists as part of the supporting ensemble. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know anything about the solo work of\u00a0Amit Chatterjee, or some Jozy&#8217;s other guitar players. \u00a0I do know that Henderson&#8217;s body of work is successful in both popularity and critical acclaim. \u00a0Plus he has a king-size honker.
